Casey Bradley

Dr. Casey L. Bradley was born and raised on a swine and mixed crop operation in S.W. Michigan. She earned a B.S. in Animal Science from Michigan State University. After graduation, she worked for New Fashion Pork before joining the University of Arkansas as a Swine Research Manager in 2002. While there, she completed her M.S. and Ph.D. in Animal Science, focusing on passive immunity, prebiotics, sow lameness, and longevity.

Dr. Bradley then served as a monogastric nutritionist with Kalmbach Feeds Inc., followed by roles at A.B. Vista, Purina Animal Nutrition, and DSM. In 2020, she founded The Sunswine Group, focusing on innovation, professional development, and consultancy. She also mentors young professionals through her Coffee and Careers in Animal Science Program. Residing in N.W. Arkansas with her husband Jason and son Arthur, she enjoys hiking and creating mixed media art and hand-made cards in her spare time.

Philip Johan Odendaal

Philip Johan Odendaal is a dedicated Zimbabwean who manages 4,600 stalls in the pig industry. As a 2022 Nuffield scholar, Philip's journey has connected him with a diverse global network of agricultural professionals. This experience has awakened a deep passion within him for sharing the resilience of Zimbabweans.

From a young age, Philip faced significant social and economic challenges, always finding ways to persevere. Inspired by the impact his story has on others, he is committed to helping people find strength in adversity. Philip's personal experiences and storytelling have become powerful tools for providing hope and support. He aims to turn past hardships into gifts, empowering others to overcome life's challenges. His unwavering commitment to resilience and community makes him an inspiring figure in agriculture and beyond.
